Fermentors

Science is everywhere. Anyone can be a teacher.

Pilot: Atoms & Isotopes Mini-Course

We’re running a weekly pilot of our first chemistry mini-course, Atoms & Isotopes, hosted on Canvas. Each week we open a limited number of spots, then reset the classroom for the next cohort to keep things fresh and private.

Active learners (this course): 0 / 50
(Updated manually during pilots.)

Join the Atoms & Isotopes Mini-Course

You’ll be taken to Canvas to create a free account or sign in. After the pilot week, student accounts are cleared and the course is refreshed for the next group.

Pilot: Solution Prep & Dilution

Our second pilot mini-course, Solution Prep & Dilution, focuses on how to prepare solutions accurately and how dilutions work in real lab settings. We connect concentration, volume, and moles with practical examples students can visualize.

Active learners (this course): 0 / 50
(Shared weekly capacity across all pilot courses.)

Join the Solution Prep & Dilution Mini-Course

You’ll be taken to Canvas to create a free account or sign in. This course uses the same weekly reset model as Atoms & Isotopes, so each cohort starts with a clean slate.

How It Works

  1. Click “Join the Atoms & Isotopes Mini-Course” or “Join the Solution Prep & Dilution Mini-Course”.
  2. Create a free Canvas account or sign in.
  3. Enroll in the 3-session mini-course (2 hours per session).
  4. At the end of the week, we reset accounts and prep for the next cohort.

Privacy note: When you create your Canvas account for Fermentors, we recommend using a Fermentors ID (alias) instead of your full name. For example, you might use an ID like A00012345. This helps us keep student records pseudonymous while still being able to organize and track progress.
