Scope
This notice describes the website as built for Fermentors. Client projects and educational programs may need additional, project-specific data terms before information is collected.
Information you provide
The contact form prepares an email locally in your browser. It does not submit a form to a Fermentors server. If you send the email, we receive the information you include and your email address. Provide only what is needed for your inquiry.
Basic hosting information
The hosting provider may process ordinary request information such as IP address, browser details, requested pages, and timestamps to deliver and protect the site. This version of the site includes no advertising trackers, analytics scripts, or marketing cookies.
Purpose and service providers
Inquiry information is used to reply, discuss a project, and administer an agreed service. Email and website-hosting providers process information needed for those functions. If online checkout is activated, the selected payment provider will process billing information under its own privacy terms; this website will link to the actual provider.
Private Orion Desk
Orion Desk is a restricted workspace for the authorized operator. When enabled, Google sign-in checks the approved account and its verified email. Necessary, short-lived authentication cookies support sign-in and a session of up to 30 minutes. Workspace requests are checked by the access gateway. Signing in does not enroll a client or a child in a service. These cookies are separate from marketing or analytics cookies.
Payment details
Do not enter payment-card information into the contact form or send it by email. Any enabled checkout opens an approved payment-provider page. Fermentors should receive only the payment and account information required to administer the service.
Children and student information
Initial learning inquiries should come from a parent, guardian, or educator. This website does not offer child accounts. Do not send student records, dates of birth, grades, or other identifying information about children through the inquiry form. Any child-directed online program requires an appropriate privacy and consent process before enrollment.
Retention and requests
Inquiry and service records should be retained only for the applicable business, contractual, or legal purpose. Contact orion.fermentors@gmail.com to ask what information is held or to request correction or deletion. Identity may need to be verified, and lawful retention obligations may limit deletion.
AI and client materials
Sending an inquiry is not consent to use confidential client material or student information for model training. Any AI-assisted processing of project data must be addressed in the project’s agreed scope and data-handling arrangements.
Updates
Material changes to website data collection require this notice to be updated. The review date for this version is October 2, 2026.
